I'm currently a Gold member and have been considering going Diamond with an Aspire card. I've been disappointed with the other Marriotts and Courtyards work takes me to and impressed by comparable HGIs and Hiltons. Since I'll be coming to this Conrad about once a month, here's my question: Does this Conrad treat Diamonds any better than Golds, or does it make no difference?
IMO, the Aspire could be worth it either way if you stay.
Keep in mind Hilton will give you $25 toward food and beverage, not free breakfast. If the room is reserved for 2 people, its $50. That can be beer at the bar or dinner also. Diamond you will get 1,000 points in addition to this.
You will also get the airline incidentals and resort credit. Plus your spending will give you 14x with Aspire, 12x with the Surpass, 7x with the free card. This in addition to the FNC.
