Been a few months since I checked a bag on AS but my experience is my bags are usually within the first 10 at BOS, but a bit worse at SFO - I think BOS has better baggage handlers potentially.

Annoyingly, QR has exactly the opposite policy for priority bag tags - business class only, OWE do not get anything.
