I just had a stay at the Rosewood São Paulo, and it may be my new favorite hotel. The staff were incredible, helpful, always offering assistance in a way that was not intrusive, and were just friendly. And the quality of everything is just superb. There is nothing in the hotel (as it currently is, since some of it is still being built) that feels like an afterthought. Everything feels quality and solid. The tumblers in the room placed on the side tables are heavy crystal. When you get your laundry it gets returned in a beautiful leather box. The lobby is gorgeous and actually feels like a library, and the library extends out the front door into seating areas with bookshelves built in around the columns. The art is detailed pencil and watercolor drawings of birds, plants, looks like it was taken from the pages of a 19th-century naturalist's book, framed beautifully and placed all over. Everything about this place exudes quality, comfort, and luxury that is extensive, but not cheap. A lot of places feel like cheap luxury. This definitely is not one of them. 100% will stay here again when I am in São Paulo next year.
