It might well have been...I've seen new ones added and old ones taken away. If you have your original reservation that calls it a "resort" you may be able to convince Amex to give you the credit (or not).

It's hard to believe in the vast expanse of Canada there seems to be only two resorts...I know resorts are usually warm weather destinations, but they are often ski resorts, too. Usually not cities, which makes Quebec seem unusual to have been one.
