Yes that’s what I meant before- a seat may be broken or unusable. But then, the handling agent or whoever should be explain, not just tell you that your seat has been changed. I think at some stations the staff receive stupid training like “Don’t negotiate and don’t apologise if it’s not your fault”... Or maybe they are told to think like this by misguided people who claim to stand up for their rights. They should worry less about procedures and more about making pax journeys better.
