Unless you must stay in that area or at one of those chains, go for the Phoenix. I stayed there in June. It's a true classic and I loved it.
Also if you want to shop for batik/souvenirs, I highly recommend Hamza Batik. It's a little crazy, but great selection and prices. Yes, you can probably get better prices in the markets, but Hamza was my pick for the best combination of price and convenience/efficiency.
