IMO, the "loyalty" part of an airline loyalty programme extends only to mostly preferring to purchase transportation from one carrier over another - it would not occur to me to be so loyal as to defend BA's balance sheets from subjectively trivial expense claims on a public forum. I'm sure they have accountants of their own.

For the rest of us, spending 5 minutes to fill in a form to get £20 works out to an income of £240 per hour. Nice work if you can get it.
