The one I was on last week had an ample opening that could fit a decent bag or your feet. Only thing odd is the FC seat stanchions don't really line up with the footholes, so the B/C seats have a stanchion in the middle of the cutout.

(I was on the "SFP" variant - not sure if that's relevant or matters).

Still would say it's best seats on plane (Row 21 being the other)
