First interaction from crew was meal trolley in aisle with: “Do you want to eat? We’ve got chicken, salmon or vegetable korma.” I went for the salmon which I now know to be the Waldorf Salad with ‘compressed’ apples. Mine were not compressed, they were sliced and had already begun to go brown but that’s the heatwave for you.
No bread rolls offered, but one had been placed on the tray.
No tea or coffee offered.
No refills offered, although when the trays were (quickly) cleared-in and as my separate empty glass was taken from my hand, I was asked if I wanted anything else. I confess I asked for a second drink just to see the disappointment.
The one consistent BA delivery was the captain boasting we had landed on time, which predictably was followed by a 20-minute wait for the (furthest possible B) gate 😂
Complain to customer relations, the service in Club Europe should be consistent, and your route should have had menus, a separate drinks/nuts service, then lunch, then coffee. It’s good for them to know as it’s fed back to the crews, and I think last time this happened, again on a longer route, they even gave us 10,000 Avios each as an apology.
