Arriving from Athens today, we hadn't even left the main runway before the announcements started that we'd be held aboard for an unspecified length of time to control the flow of passengers arriving at Customs.
Instead, we pulled up to the gate, walked right off the plane, and I was third in line at Customs. Absolutely deserted of passengers, and every Customs booth staffed with an agent.
Wheels down to MLL Dom, 26 minutes. I was expecting at least an hour and a half.
Had the same announcement and situation last week arriving from Miami. Other than that, it was much more pleasant that I expected, Signature lounge with very friendly atmosphere and flights itself not really much of a hassle.
Flying daytime MUC-YYZ next week, so I am curious how that will be.
