No need to worry, I didn’t have 22h, only 19:50 and at my origin had absolutely no issues to check the bags through. So as long as you have one itinerary and check your bags through to your final destination, you should be fine.
My bag had a special „long transfer“ tag attached when I claimed it!!
I didn’t leave the airport however, since it was my first time in Al Safwa lounge. So if you got all your essentials in your carry on for the night“out“, you shouldn’t have any problems with Qatar!

I would strongly recommend to use an air tag or the like for any checked baggage , especially these days with handling issues anywhere!
