The outsourcing would explain why they also have some really incompetent, boarderline rude Finnish crew members on the ARN flights..laid off from the permanent AY staff and re-hired by an external company..
Yes, they use HKG based crew on ARN longhauls. Also on SIN flights. They are great.
The newly hired contract staff, on the other hand, are awful. At least those with whom I interacted. Lazy and/or rude.
