Having flown both F and J on JAL from a seat perspective, a Skysuite window seat is infinitely more private, and, even at 6' plenty spacious, with a softer seat cushion that's not been worn into shiny slippery leather like F.
Service level is another matter of course, but on an overnight I feel F is not only a waste, but, crazy as it sounds, the worse choice of the two.
