That's a llllooooonnnnggggggg journey to do in Y. Depending on which airlines you are comparing with - US3 for instance - AI Y can come out looking quite good - provided the flights are on time etc. The seats are reasonably comfortable with good legroom, food is decent and generally reasonably tasty and there's plenty of booze.

Trouble with AI happens due to poor maintenance of the seats/aircraft and you could be stuck with a semi broken seat or not very clean plane. Other than that you should be fine.

And the IFE is trash. Ensure you are carrying enough of your own entertainment.
