I think it's the way that the system handles it. My middle name has a space in it and it always takes it out, and at least on one occasion my entire given name was put together with no space, but regardless of domestic or international flight, I've never had an issue.
Yep this should solve for the OP. The weird thing in my wife’s case was that it wasn’t a spacing issue, it was an actual misspelling.
