First time poster - hopefully in the correct thread.
Long time lower status, looking fwd to get to super elite after my next European trip in September.

Read the wikis and threads but can’t find answers to these Qs:

Would SE free Aeroplan reward cancellations apply to any reward booking from the my account (including for family members when I am not traveling with them)?

Also, is the cancellation policy retroactive to rewards booked before reaching SE, but of course not yet flown?

Finally, if not looking to eUpgrade (example North American short or medium haul), why would I ever book an Economy Flex or Latitude reward instead of Standard since baggage allowance, free preferred seat and free cancellation are SE benefits? Am I missing something?
