$16 to earn 1000 miles on credit card?

Hi all,

I am wondering if you will be willing to pay up to $16 to earn 1000 miles? This is because there are this rental rewards company that charges 1.6% for rent paying using credit cards. Of course there is also Telstra that charges 0.6%.
