I have an early flight out of ZRH tomorrow morning and based on the glowing feedback from 59Impala and others I had to give this property a try. I booked yesterday for around CHF200 and was upgraded to a club floor corner king room (the front desk was very apologetic no suites were available, which I knew when I booked).

We arrived via train - it’s a piece of cake to get here from the train station. I felt like I was welcomed like a King at check-in despite never having been here before, the agent was incredibly friendly and proud of the hotel and welcomed me back like an old friend. I had a small gift in my room as well (some sort of food but I haven’t yet figured out exactly what it is).

The happy hour offering in Babel was shocking to me. We were brought a robust slate of food that was delicious and enough for dinner. We planned to have happy hour here and something else for dinner but the food was so good and plentiful we just ate what they brought us and that was plenty… we did order two additional dishes off the menu (paid for) for my son as he wasn’t digging the appetizers, but my wife and I found the food delicious.

This is by far the nicest airport hotel I’ve stayed at in my life. I would gladly return here and use it as a base for touring this part of Switzerland. The train ride into town from Innsbruck was so pretty today I am anxious to come back and would come right back to this hotel as well.
