I'd also like to learn about this location. I've really been missing proper HK-style won ton soup (though I used to frequent 'Tasty' more than Mak's, if I'm honest).
I haven't been to Hon's, although lots of people say it's the most authentic: but lack of shrimp in the dumpling seems to belie that. I did go to "Beyond Cafe" which was receiving a lot of buzz a few months back, since it's on the way back home for me from work. It's very low key, which I took to be a good sign. The soup, whilst "decent" was not even close to what's on offer (or at least was on offer) in HK -- the depth of the base was lacking. The dumplings were pretty good. The noodles, only OK. It wasn't good enough for me to go more, if I'm honest, although the dry-fried noodles looked pretty moreish.
