I often travel for 2-3 weeks to different cities on short notice and need to pack a mix of equipment and clothing. When timing is tight and I need to cram as much equipment as possible I sacrifice clothing and just buy
clothing at local supplier to suppliment what I brought. I am also looking for carry on for 1-2 international trips a year where I need to travel light and airlines have 15-20 pound restricitons for carryon. Seems like BR is a little lighter
than most rimowa so that is an advantage. The travelpro elite 21 plat is about 2 pounds lighter than BR baseline carryon so I was also interested in that bag. Seems like BR is best inbetween TP and Rimowa.
The B&R is way more versatile than Rimowa. I travel just like you, city to city but for several months and my B&R is stuffed and expanded the entire time. When I need to compress it again I do so, but having it expanded I don't have to be organized and can put all kinds of temporary purchases in there. My B&R is my go to luggage.
