Just came back from 4 nights here. As Pickles said, no-nonsense and efficient. 2 queen beds was fine for us, but the room was SMALL. Even by NY standards. We managed, but we spent very little time in the room relaxing. I think for 2, it would have been fine. Staff was attentive, friendly. Room had not only zero view, it was so close to the next building, the room was always dark. Upside? Really good sleep, no morning light! Coffee was Keurig, got a kettle for our pour over packets, but ended up at Blue Bottle mostly for iced coffee during the 90+F days.

Location was great if you like that area (easy access to 7 train for the EPIC Mets games we attended, Peterson and deGrom vs Braves). Significant difference between Centric and Andaz, even more than I thought it would be, but I think Andaz would be 2x the rate.

The standout was the Italian restaurant - we wanted to grab a meal before the ride to airport and it was outstanding. Didnt get a chance to grab breakfast here. If I went here on a recommendation from a friend I would not have been disappointed, and I've enjoyed myself some fancy restaurants!

I'll stay here again when I come back alone for work. Will be Globalist then, and damn, Sept rates everywhere are HIGH.
