Here are the pics for the new J seat..
Best improvement imho: you can sit together with another person in front of you. Good for couples traveling together or for co-workers. See other notes below the pics.
The seat has also a DND mode. Bluetooth connectivity for headsets is also available (though it wasn't working).
A really bad thing: The tv / monitor feels really far from the seat.



The size of the seat seems pretty standard. The buckle is very similar to the one found on A350.

The tablet is definitely not bigger than the one found on 777.


The front part is actually huge. Another passenger can sit in front - while the tablet does not really allow dining together in an easy way, it's probably okay to work together.


Wireless charging and USB-C are a very good addition to the seat.


An additional USB-A and power port at the side of the seat.


Pretty much the same storage space as in the other seats.
