It used to be the HP brand standard that breakfast was included for all guests at the HPs. Then Hyatt had the standard shifted to have it only be included for all Hyatt program members on program eligible stays. At some point Hyatt shifted to the HP breakfast in the EMEAAP not be a mandatory inclusion for Hyatt program members, and it was up to the regional HP hotels about what to do when it came to Hyatt program members staying with them. But that was for Member breakfasts at HPs, not for the Globalist breakfast benefit. Some hotels like HP AMS and HP LHR wrongly combined the Member language for HP breakfasts with the misappropriated “may” language from the Globalist breakfast benefit term to try to squeeze breakfast money out of Globalists too. For Globalist breakfast, HP LHR now does it right pretty consistently. HP AMS too should have been corrected about this by now.
