Interesting to see all the comments about what this hotel was like a few year back, shame their standards have dropped. That said I actually had a pretty decent stay all told (not left yet) - i guess i dont have the yard stick of a previous stay to measure against, but I can imagine that things may have been better in the past (which seems to be a re-occurring theme everywhere post pandemic), in general its a hotel that i would recommend given its cost, location, grandeur etc, and as a diamond I felt looked after.
PS The place was busy, there wasnt a spare seat in the exec lounge last night, and breakfast got busy around 9am, with people sitting in the grand ball room as over flow...
