There is a pre security restaurant (Tundra take out) and a gift shop with some small snacks. There is a gift shop in the secure section past security ( note there are non secure gates at this airport too). The hours of the gift shops and restaurant vary, usually they are open around the time of the Iqaluit - Ottawa flight but no guarantee.
If you have time you can get in a taxi and head to a local coffee shop. Taxis are $8.75 flat rate each way. The price will increase to $9.25 some time next year.
