Finally ended my relationship with the BAPP card. I have had this since it was introduced and did not pay a fee for it until last year, as I also have the platinum charge card.

It’s value has declined over the years and with a further fee due in a few days I decided to make some bookings today for next year, just to see if there really was any point in giving it another year.

I have three 241 vouchers and spent 3 hours this morning looking at routes and options.

Where I want go has no F seats for a full year, when I will compromise and fly club, the seats are rarer than hens teeth and then £1,650 to pay on top of almost 200,000 avios.

Using Iberia I need 40,000 more avios and just £450 in fees, and that is without using the 241.
Enough is enough. There is no longer value in this for me and I can get avios from Barclaycard and use membership rewards to fly on other airlines.
