This is insane. It's been over a decade since I sat behind a BA check-in desk but the using the system then, PRS, this would have been a 30 second job: Delete the bags already checked in. Add new ones and print the tags.
Is FLY really that terrible?
As I read just today, it seems as though common sense has gone out of the window. In the past a moderately competent supervisor could have this sorted in a heartbeat. Maybe it is because there are so many new hires and they do not know how to over-ride what are clearly errors.
