What would be the best way of getting reasonably low first class seats in late September/October? Would it be better to wait and hope the fare gets lower? I already lost the $300 I'd used to get MCE, and I don't want to risk doing that again if there is any chance we could get into First for closer to the $800 credit apiece we have.
If that is highly unlikely, what seats would you recommend for the flight? My companion is post back surgery, which is why I bought the MCE seats the first time.
It's impossible to say whether the price will go up or down. If I was a betting man though, I'd guess those prices for FC at this point will be going up. LAX-ATL round trip for $1,200 sounds like a pretty standard amount in FC.
