My only real debate is the JW Marriott or this hotel but I believe the points savings and recent upgrades make it a no brainer.
The two are at opposite ends of the island.
I was at Le Morne, near the JW Marriott last week.
It's a much quieter area. No alternative dining options outside of the other hotels on that section.
If you're going to be sightseeing, a lot of popular options are closer to the JW.
Probably not close enough to make it worth while.
If you're driving yourself, the JW will be easier to find.
However for any savings, the Le Meridien is definitely worth the stay.
