Any place I can check or monitor award availability of AT online to get a real picture of non-phantom availability or does it always require trial and error on aa.com getting to the booking page or calling AA?
Not sure. My experience is that AT allocates a total of two awards seats per premium cabin for transatlantic. On a trip I have been looking at, 2 seats have been reservable (with ease). Three seats - no go.
