The only real options are either A) change to a business class award if space becomes available, or B) check your reservation online and in the app to see if AA is offering any kind buy-up for cash upgrade offer.
Considering there is C space available for my flight and 7+ seats in business. What's the likely hood of the flight offering cash upgrades offers? Do they normally offer this to award tickets, or only cash tickets?
