I just stayed here over the weekend for the blues festival. My experience more or less mirrors Born Sleepy's. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was good and reasonably priced. I was also on the top floor and I thought our AC worked great and we did not have a humidity problem. I too was startled by the number of nearby cannabis shops. I think there was more than 4! The hotel was in walking distance of all the blues venues and stages and it was a little more eclectic than just blues. In addition to blues there were some rock, country and funk acts. We even saw a surf guitar group. We had a really good weekend but it was hot and the hotel AC was a welcome relief, We parked in the city lot around the corner and the hotel was able to validate our ticket to give us in/out privilege's. No status with Hyatt so no benefits, but did recognize I was a member and had a welcome note. Asked for late checkout for 2 pm and was given 12:30.
