Only real improvement at Pine cliffs is a significantly better beach - your choice at the W are a 5-10 minute walk to a very small beach that’s not particularly suitable for swimming or the hotel shuttle that goes every 30 mins to a beach 5 mins drive away. It’s nice, but it’s not pine cliffs.
Thanks for clarifying this as the lack of direct beach access would be a deal breaker for me. We stayed at the Pine Cliffs Ocean Suites a couple of years ago and enjoyed it but always looking to try something new.
