This hotel is a basically an amped up Executive (or Towers) level set of rooms located on the top of the JW Marriott Marquis. I’m not sure how the rooms compare with the JW, but I booked a Warhol suite, which is a rather large corner room with wraparound views of the area, including a partial view of the cruise terminal. It has a dark warm hue thanks to the hardwood floors. The suite is very well lit, and the bed quite comfortable. The bathroom is massive with brown marble, and has a large shower with rainfall shower head. Water pressure could have been higher, and it takes several minutes for the hot water to come on. Sink faucets are fancy, but are an example of form over function. Room is stocked with Molton Brown toiletries. I did enjoy the room overall, but it wasn’t the quietest. I could hear water being turned on and off constantly throughout my stay, and there were loud clunks coming from the bedroom AC unit.
Breakfast is offered in L’Atelier, which is basically an Executive Lounge with a manned bar in the evenings. As there is no kitchen, everything is set up buffet style. Aside from high quality continental fare, there are precooked eggs, sausage, bacon, and potatoes. The warmed food was nothing special. Breakfast can be chosen as your amenity, and was about $34/person otherwise.
Aside from the lounge, the rest of the hotel facilities are shared with the JW. I used the gym and found it to be massive and well equipped. Enhanced WiFi was about 55 Mbps.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will probably be back. This would be a solid option for anybody looking for a smaller hotel feel in an otherwise massive JW.
