Before Paula created her own line of beauty care, she was known primarily for her books. If you pick up "Don't Go To the Cosmetics Counter Without Me" (and its companion "Don't Go Shopping for Hair Care Products Without Me"), you'll find that you don't have to buy her stuff; there are a lot of good products on the market that only cost a fraction of Paula's stuff, that you can pick up in local drugstores.

I use some of Paula's stuff, but I've also been using generic Cetaphil cleanser and stuff for a while.

Her books are terrific! If you don't have them, I heartily recommend them! ^
