I think AA’s policy is not to check bags through on to separate tickets, although there is a suggestion they may do if a reward

basically you need to plan on the basis they won’t check through and you would therefore need to go landside at DOH

what class is your DOH-SYZ flight and what oneworld status do you have? Oneworld rules say you should have access to a J lounge based on the inbound sector when connecting to a short haul flight.
