Can you provide some clarity on the timing? Upon arrival at the gate, you did not see someone take your bag? Or as people lined up to deplane, and you noticed your bag was gone, you did not see someone with your bag near you? You did not snap a picture of the tag of the tag on the other bag?

Sorry Im not doubting your story but if my laptop had been take. and I was with that group deplaning and going through customs, you bet I’d track that person down. They had to be close to you.
