I always preferred ORY-JFK even though I was not far from Denfert and could take either the RER to CDG or the bus to Orly. My main issue was dealing with passport control and security at CDG vs. ORY. It really made the difference. On the way back I preferred JFK-CDG because of the dining option at the lounge, which the ORY flight didn't have.
