To me it actually really depends on where you are going in Paris (or around) and how you plan to travel between there and the airport. I find ORY a pain in the back if you want to use public transport to central Paris because you either need to take the annoying "orlyval" before heading onto the RER, or the bus to Denfert Rocherot and then connect (or other busses like Invalides). By contrast, CDG is directly on the RER B line including fast (fewer stops) routes outside of peak time (so not good if you arrive at 8am but fine if you arrive at 10). with very convenient stops on both sides.

Taxis are fixed price but depend whether you go to the left or right bank.

On the whole, many people prefer ORY because it is a bit smaller and a bit closer to Paris if you drive. I tend to prefer CDG because i use public transport and because I personally find that the Acces no1 fast track typically works better than at ORY.
