Might want to check your future reservations - it seems like points booking for next year reverted to the standard rate of the hotel (i.e., no dynamic pricing at all, but constant cost per night). Not sure how long it is going to last, but rebooked several reservations and got almost 80,000 points back. I've seen it at after the first of the year.
