Just now popped down to grab a takeout cappuccino from restaurant, plenty of takeout cups and cappuccino was nice ( I recommend an extra shot) I will return in about half hour for breakfast but I did notice it looked very nice I also had a wander outside to look at the grounds of st Ann’s manor, I’ve got to say it’s a stunning setting here……will report back!
BREAKFAST - gave room no to front of house , “ enjoy your breakfast “ he mumbled, “ ok , will do thanks “ ….. staff definitely have low moral here, no smiles from waitresses and staff, however the spread was very Hilton, nothing outstanding but nothing poor either.
I had some musli , Greek yogurt and bramble compote followed by some toast and honey……didn’t have anything hot but it looked nice.
Finished with a flat white outside overlooking the Manor House …..nice.

CHECK OUT - @ 9am via express checkout box by reception.

CONCLUSION - Tricky one…… the hard product was fine, the room lovely and bed comfy, the shower was awesome too!, can’t fault that, the fact the pool, jacuzzi and sauna was out of action ( and have been for some time according to the gym manager guy ) is very bad, it was one of those rare occasions where my lady fancied joining me for a sauna and swim too, there should at least be a note on web page explaining this as this stay wasn’t cheap@ £146.
The grounds are nice and the parking free, it’s certainly not the friendliest of hotels .
Would I stay again?…..yes for a stopover if it was cheap but definitely not for a spa weekend away or for leisure.

ROOM NO - 290

NEXT PLANNED STAY - Hilton Canary Wharf ( tomorrow night ) . .
