I agree with Goldorak on ORY vs. CDG for extra-Schengen flying. If you need some sort of a comparison, it is like Gatwick vs. Heathrow for London as it concerns not strict distance (i.e. the number of km), but ability to move into the city via public transit options. For that, CDG wins hands down.
I would like others above note that if you are flying AF and there are troubles, such as a storm or mechanical issue, ecc. CDG is where you wish to be, as there are far more possibilities for rebooking/rerouting. When all goes well, ORY can be reliable, but when it doesn't - and I would believe travel is going to be tricky well into the autumn - not as much. Also, I don't know when the JFKORY flight arrives/departs, but if it is at the same time as many of the longer haul leisure flights and the French DOMTOM ones, things can become quickly overwhelmed and crowded. Plus the AF lounges in Roissy are much better, esp in the LM piers.
