If JFK-ORY goes technical and a reroute is needed to CDG, it’s close to a wash for me. If ORY-JFK goes technical and a reroute is needed to get me back to the US, I would prefer being at CDG with more options than to be at ORY. That’s why I am more fine with JFK-ORY than with ORY-JFK.

If it was AA at ORY, sounds like it wouldn’t be during any recent years.

Around the time of Clinton’s second-term mid-term elections, AA had ORY service to/from BOS, ORD, JFK, DFW and MIA. Before Gore formally secured the nomination for the 2000 elections, AA had already pulled out of regular service at ORY.
