I would rather do JFK-ORY than do ORY-JFK. At least if in business class or otherwise having SkyPriority for check-in and the rest at the airports.

AA has been flying JFK-CDG for as long as I’ve been posting on FT. Haven’t flown AA to ORY during the FT era. AA left ORY around 1999 IIRC.
