Gran Melia Iguazu..... YUP!!! Sure did pay in pesos ( blue dollar pesos). I joined the Melia Hotel frequent guest program before booking. Then I booked directly with Melia. It said I could pay at the hotel. And sure enough, they let me. Its a giant stack of cash, and they are well equipped. They have a cash counting machine right there at the desk!!
AirBnb. Never found a way. However, I did make a contact thru one of my bookings who rents apartments all over BA. If/when we go back, I will see about booking with her directly and paying in cash. Ironically, she has an office in Natick Mass, not too far from where we are from!
