Was this truly a multi-city ticket? Where you used the multi-city tool to book AAA-BBB and then BBB-CCC, with a decent amount of time spent in BBB. Or was this a ticket that was AAA-BBB-CCC? And you just are trying to turn your layover in BBB into time to do activities in BBB.

There is a big difference between a true multi-city ticket versus a single ticket where BBB is a layover.
