The last post was from more than three years ago, so I thought I'll chime in.
I did encounter similar a/c issue during my recent stay at the hotel. When it's at full force (max fan speed & lowest temp), it works pretty well. During my two-week stay, there were a few occasions where the a/c unit becomes faulty (red light on the unit turns on). And while the fan is still blowing, the air is not cold (or at least not cold enough). Reported this to the front desk, was told an engineer will be sent up to fix it. When I returned to the room, all fixed (and well). Couple of days later, it happened again. Talked to the front desk and it was fixed when I got back to the room. It then happened a third time; this time the front desk associate told me how to fix it (press on the "reset" button on the unit; button located in the middle towards the top; you have to feel the button since it's not labeled).
Other than that, everything was great! Location, perfect! Breakfast, perfect!
