When I was there in April there was a small restaurant and a store, both pre-security. I would not bother with the restaurant, instead look somewhere else in town. I'd recommend the Black Heart Cafe as the food was great, prices were good (for Iqaluit), and its along the way to the airport. The shop seemed to sell an assortment of souvenirs if that is what you're interested in.
