Thanks
HadesNL . IIRC, at some point food for CGK / DPS and some other regional destinations was catered out of SIN already.
We'll have the same menu for DPS-SIN Biz class and for an 8:00pm departure I have to say I don't know who from catering side would think Nasi Lemak is something for dinner? Breakfast, sure. Dinner, I say no personally. Indonesia has so many great dishes, if you want to serve something authentic maybe it doesn't need to be a Malaysian breakfast favourite.
Other option of Seafood Kway Teow, honesty enough already with the hawker food. So far it has never been anywhere close to being as good as the originals you can get locally in SIN and to some (a personal view) it can feel cheap, especially in J. I know some people really like it, but tastes differ.
For SIN-DPS we had the BTC Nasu Dengkaku which was some braised eggplant mostly (Japanese style) and it was passable, but ordered from the vast quantity of 4 breakfast BTC dishes and out of sheer desperation as the regular Biz menu choices were equally uninspiring and underwhelming like they will be on the return flight. SQ Biz food these days is really nothing to look forward to any longer - in my view at least. How the mighty have fallen. YMMV.
