Last night, we had a celebratory dinner at Flemings. Apologies in advance for no pictures.

Totally disappointing. Service started off strong, but after the apps and salads were delivered, there were long waits for the mains, again for our child's dessert, and for the check. My $59 filet was tender, but also had a bit of mealiness. No detectable seasoning unless you count the sear on the outside and perhaps a bit of melted butter.

No real highlights other than a great wedge salad, my son's lobster mac, and the bottle of Skipstone Cab we brought ourselves.

I'm glad someone else was buying, as I don't think I'll ever go back. I can do much better steaks at home, and if I want one at a restaurant, Texas Roadhouse is better for 2/3 (or less) the price. Just gotta take your own wine.
